To the whole world, Batllo is the name of Gaudi's masterpiece; to the city of Hangzhou, it also represents one more thing- La Pedrera Spanish Restaurant. Originally located at Baishaquan, La Pedrera is a cottage-style Spanish restaurant, warmly reminding people of that pathway full of parasol trees. This project is proposed for a visual upgrade to Batllo's new location and the requirement only contains one word: Gaudi.

Gaudi is the icon standing for achitecture in Catalan Modernisme and for designers, his name simply means the God. Copying his design is nothing but a desecration. Therefore, we discarded all the seeming features of his masterpieces, and try breaking time barrier to talk with him and understand such a great designer's original ideas. We believe this is the only way to make the salute possible.
